Better late to the Christmas party than never - this is my attempt at a light-up Portal Christmas ornament. I made two different versions; one with a deflector (V2) and one without (V1) depending on how bright your LEDs are.
Each Portal has a thru hole meant for attaching a split model to each for the full-effect using an M3x5 screw each. I made a christmas tree model in two parts - top and bottom. The tree top has a small hole at the top to insert a star or some sort of decoration if desired.
The main Face piece is printed with the wiring/back section towards the bed; snug supports are used.
Parts that I used:
Filament: Prusament Orange PLA and Hatchbox Blue PLA
LEDs: 8x each - Orange and Blue https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QXR5MZB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
6x M3 heat inserts - 1x each for the tree top and bottom; 2x each for the two face pieces. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077CL322T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
