Just mix up some high-temp silicone (I used Lukopren 1522), pour it into bottom and base pieces, wait a few minutes for air to escape and then put a lid on it. For piece of mind you can wrap the base with a tape. Wait for the silicone to cure and demould (if it's stuck, just slide a needle around the sides of the cylinder to release it.
Included are files for 18mm and 16mm spacers.
For my Ender 3 I used one 16mm piece due to bed wirestrain, but you should be fine with making 4x18mm as well.
