Legs for the Original Prusa Enclosure - elevates the enclosure up a bit, allows robotic vacuums to clean under it, and I just like the way it looks. :)
I've uploaded both version with a cable slot and without it. If you use any of the powered addons, like the LED lights or the filtration system, I suggest to print at least one of the legs with the cable slot.
The legs are perfectly symetrical, just like the original minimalistic ones.
The legs fit the foam pads supplied with the original parts (I re-used them, plus you should have 4 extra that came with the kit).
To allow easy customizations, I've also uploaded a STEP file of the full assembly with the legs. I'm also ataching the native Fusion file, though it's a bit of a mess, I didn't really spend much time cleaning it up.
The legs use identical hole openings as the original feet. I used slightly shorter M3 screws than the original ones, but the hole is long enough for them.
It's probably the best to remove the side panels when installing the feet, for easier access to those holes. I didn't want to remove the panels, so I managed to do it with them installed, but it was a bit cumbersome.
Look, I didn't try to stacking two enclosures on top of each other using these legs. Will it be fine? Probably. Can you blame for warning you not to do it? No. Don't do it. :)
If you want to try stacking them with the legs at your own risk, I would definitely pump up the perimeters and infill and/or use material like PCCF. I tried sitting on top of the enclosure and the legs held up fine. Long-term load is a different thing though.
Yes.
