Adapter for Filament Cores with a Large Center Hole. Pastamatic.

I made this so that I could reduce the size of filament cores with large centers (74mm) so they will fit the Pastamatic.

The Pastamatic operates at high speed so a tight grip on the roll was paramount, I added 4 padding/friction groves so you can stuff some rubber or foam into them to grip the roll. I just used some Sponge Window Seal I had laying around, cut it to fit in the ‘friction groves’ with a little hanging out (see photos). I only ended up needing to put it in one grove and that was enough grip for mine.
