I designed this thing so I can mount the magnetic carholder lower down the central console. This keeps it away from my view but still easily accessible. My USB charging ports are also in the ash tray area, so the cable does not have to travel a long way to the smartphone.
This should fit for a number of magnetic car holders that would normally clamp onto the vents.
The circular hole diameter is: 21mm for the bigger side and 15mm for the smaller side. The distance in between is 26mm.
I also included the f3d file so you can adapt it if needed. Don't forget to mark it as remix or re-upload. I spent 2 days iterating it so at least I get some Prusameter points.
Initially I printed it in PLA so I can test the shape. That held on tight untill the spring came in. I then printed it in ASA. it got loosened a bit during the extreme hot days, but it is still there, holding on.
If you need it for right hand drive, then you should be able to mirror it in the slicer.
The shape is not that 3dprinting friendly, but Included 2 sugestions that worked for me.
