Unlike the other PreSonus XLR USB interface the io44 does not have an easy to see screen when placed on a desk. So, I whipped this up in TinkerCAD to solve a simple problem: when the io44 sits flat on the desk, you can’t see the OLED screen. So, I thought, why not make something that props it up?
The Viewing Angle Fix: This platform holds your io44 at a 45-degree angle, making the OLED screen easy to read at a glance. It’s a simple tweak that means you won’t be craning your neck during those marathon mixing sessions.
Lift and Support: Raising the io44 up not only makes for better viewing but also gives your XLR cables some much-needed breathing room. This means less bending and wear on the cables, which should help them last longer.
Cable Management Holes: I added a couple of holes in the back, so you can run your cables through and keep things looking clean and tidy. No more mess of wires cluttering up your desk space.
Solid and Simple: The platform is sturdy and does exactly what it needs to without any fuss. It's designed to fit the io44 just right, so you can just set it on there and get back to your work.
Printing:
Print on the side without the io44 logo. I used tree supports and it was fine. Could not figure out a good way to print this without supports. Sorry ;)
