Update 1-6-24

  • This is designed tight to specifications, so if you want wiggle room or are using filaments that shrink like ABS, please take this into account.
  • Please calibrate and dry your filament prior to printing.
  • Please calibrate your printer via a test cube for dimensional accuracy.
  • Added 3MF files (generic and Bambu Lab) versions

As a continuance of my original community challenge for an AMS Riser, I present to you V6 which has several optimizations while reducing filament needed, increasing strength and some added accessories to improve functionality.

Original Community Challenge: Bambu Lab Ultimate P1P X1-C Riser+AMS Stand - Community Build!

Version 6 of my model, which was modified by @fattony to help with printability, recently been on 3D Printing Nerd's (Joel Telling) YouTube channel.

  • From triangles, to hexagons, and finally to the best shape for printability and strength: diamonds for the riser lattice.
  • Removed most of the back except for structural supports on the corners to reduce filament use while maintaining strength
  • Rear corners are now square despite rounded corner for the glass, also for easier to print and increased strength
  • Accessories!: side spool mount, tool basket, glass support pegs to hold the top completely off [if you want others just let me know in the comments, thanks!]
  • Works perfect with the Bambu Lab X1-C P1P Vented Lid Riser, providing another layer to attach LED strips to if you like

Step files included, but if you are into modeling you can get this CAD version for FREE on OnShape: V6 AMS Riser
