I needed a way to hang my hats in my closet. Because of the way my closet is laid out, it needed to be vertical and not a long horizontal rack. I made these hat holders to go on the wall by the door (and one behind the door). Each section holds 2 hats and can attach to the next one. I recommend gluing them together if you are going to use multiple. Also, each section has a hanger on the back for a nail or screw, and the hanger has also been sized perfectly to slot a standard thumb tack in and glue it in place. The ones in the picture are V1 and the hats fall off easily. V2 is the STL that is attached and angles the hook a little more to grip hats better. I learned this when modeling the thinner hat rack (also included) that was necessary to fit in the space behind the door. They also print in half to ⅔ of the time as the standard ones. The thinner ones are perfect for hats, and the standard ones might work better for coats or heavier items.
These can be printed without supports, and I even used a modifier to turn the infill down to zero for the tall part of the hook. The outer walls are plenty to support them.
Happy Printing and Organizing!
