At 100% the zenomorph is 5 inches tall and the optional display deck is 8 X 5.
OK, this alien is cute but it's Ugggggggggggly to slice. It's possible as you can see it printed in the picts. Your support game needs to be A+. Major chunks of the tail and arms will be floating in space until the body catches up! It will also take longer to print than you might expect due to the support complexity. I printed mine standing upright. That dosn't mean there may not be a better angle. I used a raft and these settings in Prusa slicer….
Support Material:
For external use only. Your results may vary. Take only as directed. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Don't get too excited getting it off the build plate and removing supports. Pay extra attention around the fingers and do not flex it at the knees.
Jones will need a bit of support as well. It's only needed for the tail. You can use a support blocker over the body otherwise it will support the collar.
The tray and the deck grate are optional but, they do make for a nice display. They do not use that much filament. They need no special treatment.
As for the colors; Polymaker Polyterra Dual PLA Camouflage (Dark Green-Brown) is a great zenomorph color. Jones is done in Polymaker 3D Print General Flat Dark Earth. The base was done in black & gray.
The cat was remixed as well. The original file is unprintable as is but, if you wish to see it you can find it HERE.
Fun fact: In the movie “Alien” the part of Jones was played by four cats!
The author remixed this model.
Resized alien. Fixed seriously broken cat file and resized. Display tray and deck grating created from scratch.
