Monolith Cryptic Calendar

Great design!

Very cool!

This is an awesome inspiration for a different (but similar) calendar i'd like to make :
I like this one, but,
i think it would be better to have the indicator/selector of month and date connected, on the same line.
This would mean i can't have it standing on the desk or another support but i have to put it on a wall, and i like the idea.
But i don't like thinking of it being stuck on the start or end of the month column for an entire month(s), i mean, with the indicator being connected, the date column will move each day but the month stuck maybe on december, being all the way up for a month.
So my idea would be to make something similar but circular.
This way the wheels would still look cryptic but not protruding on top or bottom, and also to add to the cryptic part the circular approach doesn't let people know at a glance what month it is, simply by counting or observing how close it is to the top/bottom.

I have had this printed on my desk for a couple years now, and was recently reprinting and noticed that the windows on the Month indicator are not perfectly horizontal which leads to some weird extrusion effects. I fixed the vertices that were off and can post a remix but not sure if you would prefer to look at the model yourself. If I don't see anything back, I'll post it in a few days. (edited)
