This is an accessory that I made for my AnkerMake M5C 3D printer.

It attaches the AnkerMake tool kit that comes with the printer, to the top of the printer.

It is a bit loose to allow for ease of use and comfort. It holds the tool kit strongly, so it shouldn't wobble about much when printing.

I don't know the size of the top frame for the AnkerMake M5 so you might want to check before hand, to see if it is compatible. Please let me know if you have made this for your M5 as I would love to know if it fits that as well.

Print Settings:

  • 3 top and bottom layers
  • 10% Gyroid infill (any will work)
  • No brim
  • No support
  • PLA (will also work well with PETG)

This was a very easy and quick print.

I have attached the Gcode with ironing on and off. I thought it might look nice so I printed it with ironing on all top surfaces. If I printed it again I would not turn ironing on as it was really a minor difference.

A file is attached with just 1 clip, however, I recommend printing 2 of them to hold the tool kit on both sides. I have attached a file labelled AnkerMake Tool holder which just has just 1 tool holder. I have attached another file labelled AnkerMake Tool holder Ready for Printing, which includes 2.

All files are already positioned in the correct orientation for printing.

I designed this in TinkerCAD.

I have also posted this on my Thingiverse account which you can find here and on Make It Real.

Please let me know how it is and what If can do to improve it.

Happy Printing!
