This is my design for a modular cell pack using Topband 25Ah LiFePO4 cells.

You will need:

  • Various lengths of 6mm threaded bar
  • 6mm ID 10mm OD washers
  • Serrated flange nuts
  • 4x Pieces of metal with drilled holes that conform to the "Link Template" part to ensure both sides of the pack are linked together. I used some 10x2mm copper bar I had handy.

PLA should be fine to use unless your use case will see higher temperatures than this material can handle.

Print Settings

Rafts: No

Supports: Yes

Resolution: 0.2

Infill:  15

Filament: Fibrelogy PLA Graphite

Notes:

Pack can be configured with or without compression.

For compression you will need to print Side Wall parts to go in between the cells and strengthen the Front & Rear parts with 6mm threaded bar.

Front parts have holes suitable for mounting a JK BMS - be sure to print and use some 15mm spacers to ensure enough clearance for the flange nuts that secure the lateral bars if you are mounting a BMS in this manner.

There is a variety of Top part options to suit your build needs. These are the only parts that may need to be printed with support, depending on the overhang capability of your printer.

Recommend printing front and rear parts with 25% infill for added strength. Remaining parts can use 15% infill.
