Ryobi Battery Charger Pegboard Mount (2.5in/63mm)

This part will slip into US pegboard (1inx1in) and has two pegs on the opposite side to fit into the mounting holes on the bottom of a Ryobi 18V battery charger. This prints as a single unit and requires no additional fasteners or parts.

Print Settings:

• PLA
• 3 perimeters
• 15% cubic infill
• Supports everywhere

Notes:

The part strength is sensitive to print orientation. The pegs on the charger side are easy to break when separating the support material if printed with the pegs on the bottom. However, even in this print orientation, they are still strong enough to hold the battery charger in place with a large battery.

Update 20240201:

There is now a ‘slim’ version of the battery mount based on my success with a design for the 4-½" size battery charger. This uses a single column of pegs, but there is much less waste plastic and a snug press-fit into the mounting points in the charger.
Addendum:
I tried printing the slim version without support, and the dimensional accuracy of the pegs suffers. To my surprise, though, it did fit into the pegboard and has been holding up for over a week now.
