For most applications, it is sufficient to align the allen key hexagon of the thumbscrew head with the hexagon recess of the bolt, then firmly pressing them together. It's also possible to glue in place permanently with cyanoacrylate or similar glue. The head should stick firmly without glue tough, unless removed frequently.
