Temperature controlled back plate assembly

The EnXLosure was getting too hot for some filament types (such as PLA). This replacement plate manages cooling.

The internal temperature of the EnXLosure was getting too hot when all doors are closed (40C+) and was causing Nextruder failures with PLA filament. The Nextruder was trying to advance PLA into the hot end, but the filament was too soft and would deform/break inside the extruder assembly. If I kept all doors open, and the temp around 30C to 35C, the failures did not occur.

I took the upper back plate acrylic STEP file and began modifying it to accept a small fan with associated temperature control unit (W1209). I used this as a guide: https://www.theneverendingprojectslist.com/3dprintingprojects/enclosureexhaustfan/ . Note that one of the controllers in the 2-pack was defective and intermittently drove the fan. I think it was a problematic relay.

This switch makes it easy to cycle power to to the controller: https://a.co/d/0Kw42pr

Everything is fairly straight forward assembly using M3 and M4 screws.

I printed all parts in PETG. The temp control case was printed orange with added text parts via PrusaSlicer (modifier.)
