So you bought yourself an x axis linear rail kit for your Edner 3 S1 (or S1 Pro) and the realized the mounting hardware that comes with your 5w laser module doesn't work anymore. Fear not! This is the solution. It is a slide on bracket that secures with a single screw and allows quick, easy and Z adjustable mounting of the laser module. You also don't have to remove stock sprite extruder to mount the laser module which is a bonus!
The focus of this design is on studiness over weight/plastic saving, I may come back with a v2 that adds some "lightness" to the design but to be honest you print it once and then its done.
The screw hole on the back is deisgned for an M3 8mm bolt. Note when the bolt is screwed in it simply hooks behind part of the print head carridge to stop it from sliding off hence the hole is reasonably large to allow the screw to turn easily, you don't need to screw it in tight.
I've included photos of the rail kit I used, its one of the generic ones comonly found on sites like AliExpress and Amazon.
