Filament cutter EVA3 PHAETUS DRAGONFLY SIC-----work in progress

The spacer fits between the hotend and the “body”, needs 2x M3 inserts, it serves as a support for guiding the cutting blade.

The Dragonfly SIC screws in the “body's M3 inserts with the 2x M3 screws provided.

It's a tight fit, does not allow any movement of the hotend. (at least it should be)

Still waiting to print it……… and it's still a work in progress as i'm missing the heater element and thermistor

EDIT: 26 Dec 2023, added a small scoop to enhance the cooling, and made the fit less tight.

EDIT: 27 Dec 23, slight less tight fit of the body into the EVA3 Filament Cutter carrier 

Got my hands on a Phaetus Dragonfly HF, but is a SIC, not the BMO.

As this thing is advertised @ 67mm3/sec i had to try it………

Still waiting on the heater element and the thermistor, so it's not printed yet.

The assembly is the same length as EVA3 fitted with the RAPIDO UHF to make compatible with my existing hardware.
