This is for a very old Thrustmaster GT Force Feedback Steering wheel however may suit other racing wheels.
Due to the low friction of the wheel against the under-side of a desk, you would need to over-compensate with extra clamping force, risking permanently damaging the plastic clamp.
This shoe was designed to slip over the cup washer to increase the friction to the clamped surface thus reducing the need to clamp as aggressively.
Internal diamter is 79.56mm and model has a zero tolerance friction fit. Scale to suit.
Dependant on your needs and TPU, experiment with different infill patterns and shells to tune the friction of your TPU.
Print facing downwards. No supports required.
It's best to use a flat-head screw driver to seat the shoe over the existing boot if it's slightly undersized.
Those with printers not dialled in may want to scale the model by a few percent larger.

I am not affilliated or associated with Guillemot or Thrustmaster, I just love their products :)
