This mod is relocating stock spool holder to the right side, lowering printer height and mass center, which leads to significantly reducing print vibrations.
Stock location of spool holder is shifting printer mass center toward rear top and adding lots of extra print vibrations to the frame. You can observe that by gently tapping on spool holder - it is shaking for fracture of second. Try to gently push at front of spool holder - printer front frame is easy lifting up due to most of its mass is shifted backwards.
I designed this durable and simple to print mount brace. It allows to:
NOTE: filament detector is mounting to the place of stock spool holder also allowing smooth redirect of the filament, though you may decide to add some solution with rollers.
If you don't use console mount at all - simply remounting spool holder to the socket of console mount is solving print shaking problem. Using single bolt is providing strong and secure connection thanks to rigid design of spool holder base. Longer M4x30 bolt + M4 spacer is needed though.
Mounting brace requires:
Console mount can be attached at original angle (last two pictures), or slightly tilted forward , depending on the location of connecting stock spool holder.
