A few weeks ago, I embarked on a 3D modeling project of the Casablanca Clock Tower, a gem of Moroccan architecture. What began as a 3D printable project quickly evolved into an in-depth research project, immersing me in the tower's rich history. I've shared this journey in my article, "The True History of the Casablanca Clock Tower," which I highly recommend reading to fully appreciate this architectural piece.
The modeling was done using Fusion 360, which I found to be the best tool for creating objects intended for 3D printing. My process was straightforward, relying on reference photos and some photogrammetry. I started by drawing my lines and then creating my extrusions – nothing too complicated.
J have a dedicated post on my blog to talk about the process of the modelisation, and where i will publish your makes with a link to your profil / website.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
