This is a remix of a great design. I printed 170 of the original and they fit and worked great. The only issue I found was that, since my home made MFT (Paulk style bench) is mobile, rolling over bumps and whatnot could bounce the plugs out of their holes.
I made the original design a little taller (deeper?) so more of the plug sits down in the dog hole and I also created a tiny, nearly imperceptible bulge in the side to provide a little more friction to prevent the plugs from coming out.
I think I found enough balance between tight but not too tight that they can easily be popped out from underneath, but if you do not have access under your table (the OP recommends gluing a washer for use with a magnet to remove them in this case) I would test the fit to make sure they work for you.
I printed in PETG.
Note that your dog holes must be chamfered for a flush fit. I made my own MFT style top using Shaper Origin and the UJK reamer/chamfer tool for a consistent chamfer.
The author remixed this model.
The original design worked fine, but when moving my bench around sometimes the caps would pop out. I made them a little taller and added a slight bulge in the side for a little more friction.
