I made this for my best friend for his birthday. Our friend group is always debating the merits of the different power tool lines, and I wanted to get him something personalized to go with his Rigid power tools. Then, I found these USB PD and QC3.0 adapters at U-HAUL. They do up to 20W charging over USB PD, so they're not the fastest, BUT the input voltage is 12V-32V, AND they're only $6!

For this build:

I bought the adapter on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09GY21VXL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Additionally, you need the 2 U-HAUL branded adapters (or any others that will tolerate a 20+V input voltage. BE SURE YOUR ADAPTERS WILL TOLERATE OVER 20V of INPUT VOLTAGE

You also need 1 M5 chamfered screw and 6 tiny chamfered wood screws.

I printed mine out of PETG, because I had it in orange, and I want it to tolerate being left in the car over the summer.

The settings I used:

0.6mm nozzle

0.28mm layer height

supports on build plate only

4 perimeters

8 bottom layers

8 top layers

23% gyroid infill

I had to make my own fuse socket with spade receivers and heat shrink, because the one that comes with the Rigid adapter is too big. Even making my own adapter, I was barely able to fit the fuse in there. I do recommend spot welding to the terminals of the 12v chargers with nickel strip if you can. I soldered the positives, and I almost ruined the U-HAUL adapters (the plastic softened). But, I was able to strip back a large section of wire and just clamp it around the negative terminals using the clamp piece.
