This is a phone cradle that should fit a lot of Android phones with a USB-C connection located near the middle on the bottom. It replaces the triangular panel on the centre console and will allow you to run a USB cable into the storage bin between the seats where you can plug it in. The cable will be hidden from view.
The USB / aux connection didn't seem to have enough current to charge my phone (google pixel) but plugging a USB adaptor into the cigar lighter should do the trick if you have the same problem.
You can see that there are no side supports on this cradle however I haven't had any problems with the phone falling out. it's tilted back far enough and the USB-C connections seems to add enough stability to keep it secure.
The contours of the console caused that unusual pattern as the layers were laid down. For me this was a happy unforeseen ‘feature’. I think it helps to match it up with the patterns on the other panels.
I printed it with CF-PLA to test it. I don't know yet how that will hold up during the hot summer weather so I might end up doing it again with a different filament.
Print it with a couple of extra perimeters and you should get nice rigidity.
For the USB cable - there's a ‘questionably shaped' hole on the underside of the model which should be just enough to push it up through the bottom vertically. Then you'll need to re orientate the connector to the same angle as the Lexus logo and pull the cable back down through the model until there is no slack.
There are lots of videos online to show you how to pull the centre panel off - it's super easy.
