Hello ! What's the minimum bed size for this print?
@NicolasChamb_1832528 I've cut the tray into six pieces so they fit on the majority of printers out there. The biggest piece is 189mm, so it should be at least that size!
In the spirit of full disclosure, while the pins are included in the file, the panels did not have the pin holes molded in. I did contact the creator and he said he was going to try to troubleshoot that. HOWEVER, I decided to go ahead and print this anyway.
I used black PLA and it took almost a full spool -- so keep that in mind (however, I also enabled ironing to smooth out the surfaces, which did use some extra material). My prints did require a small bit of clean-up along the edges before I glued everything together (my printer's fault, not the files), but that's just part of model building, so no big deal.
I used Gorilla superglue along with a superglue accelerant for assembly and everything went together super fast and easy. Because I was a bit unsure of how well the pieces would hold together on their own, I also glued a large sheet of styrene onto the backside to reinforce all of the seams. I may go in and fill some of the seams with putty, but that would be for cosmetic reasons only.
When fully assembled, this is a LARGE board... but then again, this game does take up some considerable table space. Overall, I believe this will make the game easier to manage, especially on smaller tables where players can even hold the board in their laps if need be. The design is very well thought out and does a great job holding the components.
If you play Dice Throne, I feel like this is a must have. (edited)
@RobertWurth_1362320 This is a nice-looking Print! Thanks for sharing! I think we all might need to see the one you painted though! That's the fanciest one I've seen so far! haha
Awesome addition to the game! The model initially didn't fit on my bed, but I contacted him and he cut it up for me. Can't recommend this enough!
