I could go to the store and spend 10 euros or dive into the rabbit hole of British plumbing standards (BSSP or ISO228 if you want the metric translation). Which type of person are you. I know I'm the second type :)
I could find many G1 ½ drain nuts online but no G1 ¼ so I sit in freecad to design one, but that was no easy task as freecad doesn't support yet the british plumbing BSPP standard (ISO 228).
Well after diving in the rabbithole for some time I came up with this which fits pretty nice. I scaled to 1.02 on X,Y as I do with most 3d printed nuts.
Now I m a happy person with a custom made drain nut. I printed in ABS because I still love it and have tons of it :)
