With the option to place a second spool (thanks @Anthony ) at top of my Ender 3 S1 Plus, i also wanted to relocate the filament sensor in addition with the ability to fix the not-used filament.
Thus, i first printed the already remixed Dual Filament Sensor Bracket from @JakeHink (thanks !) but had issues with the sensor beeing to high for the filament to easily run through. So i added also the Ender S1 Filament Guide from @GiuseppeCaputo but this made it even worse for my case as the filament guiding hole is even higher. So i decided the relocate the filament sensor position and set it in half the angle of the spool holder which is the best compromise for the incoming and the outgoing filament direction. It works perfectly fine now for my case.
Print instructions:
I printed it with the backside of the bracket facing downwards.
Layer height: 0.2mm
Infill: 15%
Tree Support enabled
Assembly instructions:
Use the existing filament sensor screw and screw the filament sensor to the bracket. Don't tighten the screw completely. Instead use loctite so the sensor may rotate around the axis to allow for both filament spools as well as for the print head movement
Printing evolution
The author remixed this model.
Moved the CRTouch/BLTouch Filament Sensor location downwards and adapted the angle to allow smoother filament feeding and avoid abrasion.
