Creating an ideal camera mount for my lack enclosure and Prusa MK3 has been a long work in progress. I have probably gone through 10 different designs trying to get a good mix of flexibility, stability and space usage.
Sneaks' articulating camera mount covers many of the things I was looking for but I didn't want to mount it to the printer due to vibrations and possible noise. On the other hand andersstou1 created a super stable lack mount which allows for great range of motion while being tucked in the corner of my lack enclosure.
I combined the two designs by merging the link design with the 8mm rod connector. This allows the full articulating mount to work on a 8mm vertical rod attachment to the Lack table. I also edited the 8mm rod brackets into two versions, one has a reinforced m3 nut/bolt area to tighten the bracket, the other allows a fixed rod insert without adjustment.
I printed all items in PETG for durability but PLA will be more than sufficient. NOTE: you must print the link with supports as the default orientation is needed to create a secure 8mm rod attachment.
I will try to get more pictures up with different positions soon, I am in the middle of a 2 day print.
The camera I use is the Logitech C270 with the following mod: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3087454
The lens kit is also linked on this mod. The articulating mount for the camera is a remix on the original post by Sneaks.
