Mini ITX NAS Modular Computer Case V2 (remix) shorter version for 1x HHD

Backplate with rised cutout when using 6mm motherboard standoffs.Use this with original model (8cm high) if you want to use motherboard standoffs.

Short version (6cm high) for 1 HDD. Front/back plate can be printed on mini (rotate it 45 degree). Use M3*5*5,3mm inserts for front/back plate.

Added place for screwing two cases together using M2*6*3.2mm inserts use M2*10mm screws. Place inserts in corners, small holes on 8cm case. You can use my other model - ratchet style bit holder if you don't have tool that will fit in small case.

After testing it's better to fix two cases together different way. I've added connectors to use on front plates (use M3*14mm screws), see pictures. If you want, you can resize connectors to different thickness (to use shorter screws) but remember to leave X and Y axis at 100% and change only Z axis size.

You can print standard version front and back plate (8cm high) on mini but you need to cut it in slicer. Use dovetail mode (see photos).

Standard version is using M3*5*5,3mm inserts to screw front and back plate + motherboard.

To install inserts use any soldering iron you have on hand, just clean it from any solder residue. Prepare knife or exacto/box cutter knife, sometimes inserts get stuck on soldering iron if you push too hard. After installing inserts take a spare screw and check if insert is straight.
