During certain months of the year, both in the morning and at night light will be at such an angle that it blocks the IR safety sensor on the garage door. This prevents the garage from closing. I either have to hold down the button to make it close or worse I hit the button and drive off only to come home to find it open.
This easy to print cylinder clips on to the safety sensor. I secured it with hot glue as the door has a good amount of vibration.
It solves the problem. Your sensor may be a different size. I included the autocad files just in case. Just measure the outer diameter of the sensor and modify the circle sizes in fusion 360 then export.

Notes:
In my part of the country PLA will suffice as there isn't so much sun and heat that PLA would be a problem.
If you have direct sun and keep the door open for long periods of time, or live in a hot climate I suggest printing in PETG or ideally ABS.The author marked this model as their own original creation. Imported from Thingiverse.
