I was not happy with the amount of backlash in the leadscrew block on my respooler. So I modified the stock block by adding a threaded hole.

You will need a M6 setscrew around 10 - 20mm long.

You will also need to drill a hole in the bottom side of the leadscrew block to allow access for adjustment.

Adjust to minimize backlash but not so tight as to bind.

It may be necessary to run a tap threw the block to clean up printed threads, don't rethread all the way. Leave a small area the will create enough friction to hold adjustment.

Printed in pla 25% infill with the threaded hole vertical.

Picture is with a M8 setscrew because that is what I had on hand
