Printparameters as in original, no changes so far. Mention that the cover must be printes with supports.

Also mention the assembly-instruction from the original.

Print all the files as oriented in the STL except for the RPi4B connector, you'll have to rotate 180º on the z axis, use brim specially on “Connector” since it’s a very thin part, for the “Cover”, and just for the cover, use supports beyond 70º to avoid bridging problems (they’re gonna be minimal and easily removable, so don’t worry)

Used 50% gyroid infill, 4 walls and 0.2mm resolution. For materials, anything solid would serve though I recommend improved rigidity/flexibility on the middle-piece so use any material that gives you that.

What you will need?

  • BTT Pi V1.2
  • All 3 parts printed
  • 4 M2.5x4mm countersink screws (for the cover to the middle part)
  • 4 M2.5x8mm countersink screws (for the base to the middle part)

Advices

I suggest you first install the “Connector” into the “Cover”, after that, grab your Pi and connect your cables and insert into the connector, once it’s done, finish the mounting.

Also I do recommend to you to connect the display screen cable before attaching it to your printer. Also, depending on your micro-USB cable that you’ll use to power your Pi, make your life easier and after inserting the screen but before moving it down to lock it in place, connect the cable now since the access can be limited when locking the screen in place.

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I changed all the mountingholes to match with the BTT Pi 1.2. Also added holes for the terminals that differ from the Raspberry Pi.

Please share makes, leave comments and suggestions as I still try to improve my designs.
