LM2596 case

Case for LM2596 step down board 43.5 x 12 mm, without need to use any screw for the cover.

Two files:

• Bottom: The actual case, with holes for 2.5 mm screws.
  • There is also a 4 mm hole at the center bottom, in case using a mounting screw.
• Top: Cover with option to use a switch (2 files). 
  • Both are having a 3mm hole for accessing the voltage output knobe with a screwdriver without the need to open the case.
  • The opening for the switch is 9x14.5 mm.
  • Make sure to select the top face at the bed. (Place on Face is PrusaSlicer)

As there are a lot of boards out there, make sure that you boarding is having the right dimensions.

Use PLA with 0.2 mm height.

The screws I used are 2.5 mm from an old HDD.
