When replacing the original 80mm fan in the Rigol MSO5000 with a low noise Noctua NF-A9 fan, you will need a new holder to fit the bigger 90mm fan that has about the same air flow as the built-in fan but is quite a bit less noisy.

I printed the holder in PETG to make sure it will not change it's form due to hot air or car temperatures in the summer. You will need support, which I could not avoid.

I removed the original 80mm fan holder and used 4 M3x8mm screws and self-locking nuts to avoid any screws falling off due to vibrations. You could also use Loctite or nail polish, but make sure that the screws will not come off! The fan is held by the rubber thingies that are delivered with it.
