2Kg spoolholder for Prusa enclosure
We use original sides with rollers from Mini spool holder, but we use different piece to join them as a stand that is also mounting to Prusa enclosure.
Why:
I was looking for different ways ho to store additional spool and used Mini spool holder that was modified to fit next to printer bed.
Other options:
Prusa enclosure store main spool (1Kg) on the top) There is a way to store also 2Kg spoolholder there by modifying existing one but I didn't like the way how it worked.
How it will help you:
You can easily insert your 2Kg spools into enclosure without removing your other 1Kg filament.
It is mounted directly to enclosure so it is not moving and filament is being fed without any issues via original bowden on top.
How to print:
You will need Mini spool holder if you don't have one here is list of what you need:
4x Original Mini spool holder: Part Mini Spool Holder (PETG)
2x Connecting rail
2x Rail stand
6x screw M3 x 8 mm
4x screw M3 x 14 mm
4x nut M3
4x Bearings 608
I would avoid printing parts from PLA as it will warp inside of printer. It stored next to heated bed.
If you already have your Mini spool holder you will need only this:
2x Connecting rail
2x Rail stand
2x screw M3 x 8 mm
How assemble:
If you assembling your Mini spoolholder printed above. Follow this excellent guide by Prusa until step 4.
You will use then you new Connection rail and rail stand. Front stand will then screw to enclosures bottom. i would suggest moving your printer bad to the back. Show in the picture bellow.
Spool is mounted directly to enclosure itself by left over screws that you will have remaining after you build your enclosure by remaining 2x 8mm bolts.
Spools: I use only prusament 2Kg spools. If you want to adapt this holder for different width of the spools you can screw directly to plastic or you can add negative modifier for 3mm hole for rail itself. If you provide measurement I can adapt files for you.

Suggestions welcome and I will update guide as needed.
