These are the router templates for installing Futures Fins finboxes. Router out the slot first and then the flange. There are two templates but also and insert that can use used with the flange template. This allows the routing out of the insert box without removing the flange template.

Use calipers to measure the depth to set the router bit depth. The templates are 8mm high, so add that to what ever measurement you get for the height of the finbox and the flange.

Use masking tape to tape down the template or glue some grippy drawer liner to the bottom of the jig.

My router is the Makita RT0701C Compact, there is also a cordless one that is awesome Makita DRT50ZX4, included are router bases for those models. Bit size is 3/8".

*I had posted a previous version and it was my first attempt at modeling, the tolerances for this version are more refined.

*Added a DeWalt base plate for 3/8" bit.

Please see my website for detailed installation instructions if needed.
