Universal-ish Garbage Clip For Your Desk

Hello. I am new two 3d designing, but wanted to share my model that I designed for a problem that I had with no solution. I needed to clean the scraps of filament off of my desk, but had no where to put it. I would try to hold a bag up to my desk, but that just made more of a mess. That is why I designed this universal clip. 

The reason I say universal is because you can scale the project in UltiMaker Cura my choice of slicer. 

To scale your project you need to know that the height of the opening where you put the clip is 21 mm, so the original model will fit any desk with a height of 21 mm or less. If you want it to fit a bigger desk, scale the model. 

Print the model on its side with 20% infill.  You do not need any supports if you print it on it's side. Once you have printed the model attach it to your desk using double sided tape. I found that the tape does not damage the desk, and it keeps the clip in place at the same time. 

Take the handles of your disposable plastic bag and put it in the notch at the end of your clip. You can now sweep scrap filament and other garbage right off your desk into the “garbage bag.”
