A friend of mine was missing some of the inserts for her ceramic Christmas tree, so I went looking here and found something that was close to what I wanted.  A few tweaks produced this.

Print in vase mode with 2 bottom layers, 0.2 mm layer height, 0.6 mm extrusion width, and a 5-mm brim.  Transparent PETG would most likely provide the best results.  If you place the models far enough apart on the build plate, you can also print them in batches for greater efficiency.  (I did 9 at a time, but might have been able to do 12 to 16 at a time if I tightened up the spacing a bit.)

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

The original version had the bulbs split in two, to be printed separately and glued together.  I decided to put them back together in OpenSCAD and print them in one piece, in vase mode for quick and economical printing.  Less material used should also allow more light through.
