Cat Stargate Tunnel

Perhaps in homage to one of my all time favorite TV shows, or maybe in hopes that it will actually send my cats half a galaxy away to use the litter box, either way it makes me smile. (The cats are indifferent.) The portal allows them instant access to the under-the-stairs closet where we keep their food and litter box. 

I printed the Stargate in silver-grey PLA with supports, the Front in blue to mimic an open gate, and the Back in whatever.

I painted seven of the chevrons orange-yellow to show an active “local” wormhole. (Intergalactic calls are too expensive and don't get my started on dialing Destiny…).

The Front and Back fit with a little friction. Once the tunnel is in place, hot glue on the finished Stargate.

I merged, simplified, and cut the original GrabCAD model to form the front of my cat litter tunnel. Cough. I mean wormhole.
