Cable management clip for Ikea Besta, Billy, and other 18mm (or wider) furniture with Tesa Powerstrip / 3M Command strips

A simple to print yet very sturdy and reliable cable clip for cable management. Designed for Ikea Besta, Billy, and other 18mm wide, or wider, furniture, boards, etc. You can still add and remove everything without catching on the cable or on the holder. The opening of the clip is small enough to prevent anything from entering or removing itself by accident – and you can still easily add cables if you want to.

The clips are designed to be attached with a Tesa Powerstrip / 3M Command strip. You can also glue them, but then they are harder to remove. You might need to trim the adhesive strip a bit to fit the 18mm width. I was able to cut a single Tesa Powerstrip Large 2kg into four strips for four clips, which is quite cost efficient.

I recommend you print with PETG. Ideally clean the clip with mineral spirits or acetone before attaching the adhesive strip.

And if you didn't know: If you clean your PETG with mineral spirits or acetone, you can superglue PETG to most anything, even other PETG.
