I have a Fluval Plant 3.0 light mounted above my aquarium. It works great, but the light from the bare LED bulbs spills out in front of the aquarium and is quite blinding when you are too close at a low angle. I solved this by clipping a piece of white acrylic to the rails of the light, diffusing the light when viewing the aquarium closely.

This requires a sheet of acrylic cut to size with two holes laser cut or drilled to match the clips. I uploaded a PDF drilling guide. The clips have a round feature that should click into the holes in the acrylic, providing a moderate grip but still allowing the panel to be removed.

My acrylic panel was right on 3.0mm but I included a step file for easy modification.
