Ioniq 5 Plate Mount #2

The OEM plate mount for the Ioniq 5 is not designed to fit the common sized NSW plates. This is a replacement to mount the standard “NSW Slimline” plate fitted with a black plastic surround. (375mm x 100mm, including the surround.)

This design utilises four of the five existing holes in the bumper from the OEM mount. The Slimline plate with plastic surround neatly covers these holes. If your dealer has drilled any extra holes, they probably won’t be covered. Try this plate mount if that is the case. 

I've left the six holes along the top that align with the holes on the actual plate blocked with a thin layer. Just push through the holes you want and leave the rest sealed. 

Due to its width, this is printed in two halves. The 3mf file contains both halves, joined by a dovetail. It probably should be printed in PETG to cope with being left outdoors. I also used 5 perimeters for added strength. You will need support for the four bolt holes. A bit of Superglue to keep the two halves together probably isn't a silly idea.
