An under-desk hook/rest with lots of support for large headphones. These are designed to mount to the bottom of a desk using a pair of wood screws, allowing the headphones to gently hang out of the way while not in use. They also feature a cable guide to keep the cable neat and off the ground.
I designed these for my Hifiman Sundara's, which have a very wide headband that many existing headphone hooks won't fit. I also wanted a large, curved surface to provide ample support and to put as little strain as possible on the headband. This design fulfills those requirements while being (in my opinion) simple and elegant.
To print this, you'll either need to print it in the provided orientation with supports, or split it into two halves and assemble it using pegs (which is a cool feature that PrusaSlicer has now). A relatively coarse layer height and relatively sparse infill should be fine; I used 0.2mm and 15%, respectively.
The author remixed this model.
This took inspiration from a headphone hook design on Thingiverse, and uses the same geometry for the mounting points and cable guide. The model has been made from scratch, though, and uses a different design for the headphone rest.
