I had an old phone I could plug into a power supply and use to display my print progress on PrusaConnect, so I threw these together to safely hold it to the top rail aimed at my print.
There are two versions: The first one snaps on the bottom around the frame rail. This one feels more secure, is one piece, and is easier to use and release, but only works on the front half of the frame. The second version attaches into the side of the frame rail with an extra catch. It works anywhere but is more complicated. You will need two, so you can mix and match for what you need. I went with one of each to mount the camera lens at the midpoint with the power cable going towards the back of the XL.
The arms angle the camera down by 20 degrees, which is better than level but impinges on the bed a little bit, so don't print right up to the side your camera is on or the extruder might run into it. I could've moved the arms further back but I'm not going to print that close to the edge and didn't bother. Maybe on a future version if I need to revise it.
For printing put the flat parts on the bed and use supports on the catch, but other than that lots of settings will work.
