Stud earrings in the shape of 2mg estradiol tablets - the icon of the transfem community.
Both small and large variants are included. The small ones are 1.5x the size of the actual tablets (the smallest possible size that will accommodate the earring posts I used), while the large ones are a “hanging” design at 2.4x scale.
These are designed for use with 6mm earring posts. I used these posts from Joann's, but anything with the same dimensions should work: https://www.joann.com/84ct-silver-metal-glue-on-pad-butterfly-earring-posts-by-hildie-jo/14149793.html
Slicing these such that they print properly is a hassle; I've included PrusaSlicer project files (.3mf) that should save you some effort.
If you do choose to slice them yourself, I'd recommend a relatively fine layer height for detail on these small models - I used 0.1mm. Make sure to include a pause / color change to insert the earring posts just before the cavity is closed. You'll also have to force your slicer to place the models at least 10mm up in the air, and to generate supports such that they won't block the earring post when it's inserted. I solved this by placing a cylinder under where the post would go that is 10mm tall and 0.1mm in diameter (such that it's unprintable, but still blocks supports).
The author remixed this model.
This is adapted from the high-quality estradiol tablet model that BluShine made. The engraved numbers “887 | 2” have been made a bit larger to remain visible when printed at small scale, and cutouts have been added for earring posts.
