Ribbon to Bow

This model is built to turn any ribbon into a bow for Christmas decorations and gifts.

The included files are for a 1 inch or 25.4mm ribbon. I've found 1 inch to be a good size for bows to use for both decorating and gift wraps.

The designs are 0.4mm tall, for multi-color you can add a filament switch command for the top two layers.

Making the bow:

There are three channels going through the octagon to thread the ribbon through.

First we thread the ribbon through the lowest hole.

Second we loop the ribbon around and thread it through the highest hole.

Lastly we loop the ribbon around and thread it through the middle hole.

Attaching the ribbon:

To attach the bow to a ribbon we take the base.

The arrows are the direction that the bow will go.

We use the channels to thread the ribbon through. 

If the bow is going to be hung up then we can loop the ribbon around the base for a better hold.

If the bow is going to be used on a gift then the base will be placed behind the ribbon as the ribbon gets wrapped around the gift.

Lastly we can clip on the bow that we made earlier.
