PDF

A portable self-contained case for the Corne split keyboard, with storage space for cables. The two halves of the case slide together with the storage box for transport and protection. The storage box provides a container for cables and tenting bolts.

Inspiration was from this design by Kopsi (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4229965, https://www.printables.com/model/373256-crkbd-bento-case). It seemed like an easy step from a separate container holding the keyboard to having the case itself form the box. The only missing thing was some way to carry the cables.

## Tips

  • The version with mouse ears (partial brim) on the corners is recommended to help prevent separation from the print bed.
  • Supports are needed in two places: in the case holes (for the USB and TRRS cables) and under the storage box’s snap tabs.
  • The tenting holes are designed for two nuts and a wing nut (for M3 bolts).
  • The box lid is optional.
