Mr Plow is an ice scraper and hand warmer

Are you tired of having your hands cut off by snow blowers?

Mr. Plow was designed to keep my hands warm and my phone dry and ice off my car window.

It's been battle tested in Sweden and actually works surprisingly well and doesn't affect my car phone-holder thingy or magsafe/qi charging etc at all. In fact, on the photo with the red matte PLA, you can see the water beads drying.  

This is the commercial which inspired me to make Mr. Plow.
 

The wedge shape is designed to channel the ice and snow AWAY from your phone screen. The text will help to remind you to scrape downwards (gravity is your friend) although you can certainly go nuts and scrape in any direction you please.

It's designed from ground up to be strong, print great in PLA or PETG with no supports and pretty much any settings.  You can even smash it together with your favorite phone case right in the Prusa Slicer.  It worked great for me!

TBH the Galaxy black PLA looks the best.  But the black PETG feels the strongest and thats the one I've kept on my phone.  I kind of even like the look of the layer lines for some reason. In retrospect, they almost look to me like they were intentionally designed to channel away the snow!



Here's how to make your own Mr. Plow:

1. Download the Mr Plow Blank and also download your favorite phone case from this site.
2. Open them up in any basic 3D design software, or Slicer software, mash them together, and print.

FYI here's how I did mine.  Your results may vary or you may need to scale Mr Plow.  Please note that your slicer software will throw up a warning (because you have 2 pieces on the plate which are mashed together). Just ignore the warnings and print it.  You got this!!!!

I used a model for an Iphone 13 Pro case as an example.

Mine is printed in PLA at 0.2 default settings. TBH it works WAAAAY better than I expected and it lives on my phone now.

The cover photo was printed in Prusament Galaxy Black PLA 0.2 layer height default slicer settings with no support and 15% infill.
