What and Why:
I was looking for a filter solution for my Voron 0.2 and stumbled across the Bento Mini. I have an enclosed Bambu Labs P1P using @thrutheframe's Arc enclosure and also use the larger Bento Box in that machine. I wanted to use the Bento Mini in my existing Voron 0.2, but the default mounting directions require you to pre-load nuts into the frame. This isn't a problem when building a new machine, but is not possible with an existing machine without the need to disassemble.
I was looking for a way to retro-fit this into my machine when I noticed the ZeroPanels I have installed on my Voron 0.2. It uses a clip based magnet receiver that you add to the frame to help keep the door closed. I took the clip idea from those and remixed the Bento Mini Voron cradle to remove the screw holes and add the clips instead.
Printing:
I printed using the default setting from the Bento Mini's project file. I added manual tree supports for the clips. After printing, I cleaned up the supports on the clips. The important part is the hooks on the edge of the clips, not so much the part in the middle. Try not to break those hooks, but clean in between. I found a small flat head jewelers screwdriver helpful. I didn't try printing without supports, but you can try if you want.
I have included my project file with the manually added supports. I also included the .stl file if you want to try printing another way.
Hardware Needed:
Installation:
Take the cradle and position it over the channel in the extrusion. You will need to press down a bit to get it to click into place. Make sure the cradle is flush with the extrusion. Take a self tapping Mx10 screw and place it into the hole in the top of the clip section. Screw the MX10 into until it fully threads. The MX10 screw will spread the clip and give it great grip inside the channel. It will not damage the extrusion. It's sole purpose is to spread the clip.
Special Thanks:
I want to shout out to @thrutheframe for yet another great 3D Printing project and to zruncho3d for the clip design.
The author remixed this model.
Use clips with Mx10 self tapping screws that spread the clips in the frame to secure it nicely. Designed to be retrofitted into existing Voron 0 builds or just an easier way to add it.
