How about a book style ornament for your tree? As a bonus you can hide something in there!
You might even print 24 of these with numbers imprinted on the cover (e.g. using PrusaSlicer's emboss text, cut, 0.2mm thickness; or use a multi-color printer) as an advent calendar on the tree (if you set it up that early).
It's storage capacity is equivalent to 3 AA batteries. Moderate scaling should be fine.
Here I used some simple ribbon to hang it, other hangers will work, too.
I added decorative octagram spiral modifiers to the 3mf (also the color change), so I recommend using the 3mf file. It's a print-in-place model with a living hinge, no supports. PLA is fine; I used Prusament Viva la Bronze and some white filament, 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height (a bigger layer height might cause problem with the overhangs).
The author remixed this model.
