This is a quad-station remix of the MagMad 3D Printed MagSafe Stand. The cutouts fit the original Apple MagSafe chargers.
I used the Prusament PLA Prusa Galaxy Black for this print. This print is too large for the Prusa bed, so I split it and used a dovetail joint. The joint is not tight, so you can glue it if you'd like (I prefer to be able to split in case I have to move it.
This model uses painted-on supports. The 3mf and bgcode files contain the painted-on supports, dovetail split and pause to insert washers.
There are 4 cutouts in the model for embedded washers - each cutout takes three ASC ¾" washers. ***Please note - I highly suggest using a caliper to measure the thickness of each of the 4 stacks of washers. I found that there is quite a bit of variance in the thickness of the washers. The stack must be slightly under 10mm (ideally 9.8-9.9mm) thick. It took a little mixing and matching, but anything 10mm or over will not clear the nozzle. Also, it takes a little force to seat the washers fully in their slots. LASTLY, I recommend warming the washers (at least body temp) and once they are in, coat the top washer in each slot with a thin layer of glue stick to help the filament stick.
Finally, with the embedded washers, the stand is heavy, but I would recommend rubber adhesive feet on the underside to prevent it from slipping on smooth surfaces.
Let me know if you have any questions!
The author remixed this model.
I used the original MagMad model to create a 4-station version. Each charging section retains the slot for washers for a weighted base.
